Hotel Royal - Colonia del Sacramento

The location puts you in the thick of the historic quarter. The economy double room has decent space for a couple.

The furniture is quite dated, which drags the overall feel down. Wi-Fi struggles to work well in the rooms, though it's better in the lobby. The breakfast falls flat, especially considering the price-there's a lack of variety and very limited seating. Be wary if you're planning for an early start. There's a very small breakfast area and you might end up waiting outside for a table. Shower space is cramped, with the curtain clinging to you rather uncomfortably while washing up.

The room was warm and brand-new with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice sized and it had a shower, a hairdryer, and a bidet for my convenience. Location: the hotel was short walk to Colonia del Sacramento, restaurants and stores, and the old center and water. Everything exceeded all expectations, I would return anytime.

Overall it was fairly quiet, with an outdoor bathroom. The staff were very very nice and courteous, as I could only expect. Close to the train station, the location was awesome and amazing, in the centre of Colonia del Sacramento

The Wi-Fi barely worked, forcing me to stay in the lobby for a connection. The furniture appeared quite old and creaky, which detracted from the overall comfort of the room.

Quiet units with TV, half the sun beds plus air con, and the staff were welcoming. The location was wonderful, at a medium distance from La Calle de los Suspiros Street...

The hotel offers a good breakfast with cheese provided, the pastries and also cheese. Brand-new rooms complete with half the sun beds and TV and air con, very nice and courteous staff.

The bathroom was an absolute disaster, with mold and a shower situation that I just couldn't even deal with. Can we talk about the lack of a fridge or even water bottles? Definitely seemed like I was missing a welcome gift after such inconveniences. Almost gave another star, but then, reality hit me.

Comfortable beds, convenient location, the hotel is close to everything you want to explore including the bus terminal, and the seasonal outdoor pool is great.

I loved my stay, especially how they had breakfast ready early for me on my busy day and the extra pillows were a nice touch! The pool area was perfect for unwinding after exploring, and I enjoyed the cozy lounge too. Just a heads up, the breakfast room can get a bit cramped, so timing is key! 😊
